Sponsor a Child

Meet with your Sponsor

Myles of Great Hopes has many streams of helping the needy and in the most fundamental ways. In rural Kenya, education is so vital like anywhere else in the world but it’s almost impossible to some who do not have the resources, especially at high school or college levels.

Sponsoring a child’s education is one way we are asking our sponsors to join us and be a part of the solution. We will connect you with the child you will be sponsoring electronically with the goal of having a physical meeting within your lifetime God willing. The treasures of it all are the memories that create the history of the divined journey between you and the sponsored child. Currently, we have ten high school girls in need of school tuition/fee support.

We have very energetic ongoing CREATIVE ART through painting and drawing at our offices here in Raleigh. Our team leads in this program are dedicated and love what they do passionately. We hold ART sessions for families as a way of appreciating and giving back locally by encouraging early talents. Essentially, children have enjoyed these activities by creating work that would be able to support other children’s in need and connecting with them. Be APART of THIS, see our photo gallery and LIKE them.

Macon Bunn, besides her love for yoga and music, is a full time artist and a member with MoGH. She has offered to present to you in a more creative way the images of these beautiful girls right here in Raleigh and across continental USA and beyond. This will be a pride and an accomplishment by you since sponsoring a child will be an exchange to owning the huge portrait. It will be a story in your home, a blessing to your hard labor 100 folds, a reason to join our yearly mission trip to Kenya one day to connect and a legacy to live forever.

Macon talks about Connection. It is the thing we humans strive for. That which was necessitated for our beings upon birth. An essential mode for survival, a connection lies between ourselves and everything around us. Essentially, the only thing we need to connect emotionally with another human being on a more intimate level is a lock of the eyes. The eyes tell a great amount about a person. They are a direct pathway to the soul, the spirit, and the workings of the mind. Her portrait of these girls will offer that connection at the get go.

The meat of my work lies in drawing large-scale, highly realistic portraits of people. It is powerful to experience a person’s presence on such a large scale; being given full permission to look upon their beauty in this personal way. You host a silent conversation with them, learning the extent of their history, judging their personality, and feeling out their energy.

Her creative soul seeks to bring into existence that which has not been realized before. Rendering these faces is a way for me to create, as well as connect with others on a more intimate and emotional level. Feeding the pressing need, I will continue to seek and share this powerful connection.
