Ann Mukono – Bio

Anne Mukono has been the main point of contact for MoGH Projects in Kenya, discussing work-flow issues with engineers, lab technicians, contractors, headmasters, students, team members, government officials etc. She is responsible for drawing comprehensive reports from raw data from the fields and communicate the conclusions and cause of action to the team. 

She began her full-time professional work as an auditor with Ernst and Young after graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Arts.  Her work with the global audit firm honed her skills in time management, managing sensitive client data, report writing and having great written and verbal communication skills. She left to work with L’Arche London as a support assistant. She supported the core members with daily practical and medical needs. Her group consisted of core members with Autism and mild to severe learning disabilities like down syndrome.

She has completed a course in Support for people with Autistic Spectrum Condition which has BILD (British Institute for Learning Disabilities) accreditation, Sign Language and physical intervention and as such she can effectively handle challenging situations. She is currently working with L’arche in the Bretagne region of France.
